Artworks made by me.
This charcoal drawing depicts a quiet, empty interior space, focusing on architectural structure, perspective, and atmosphere. Through controlled shading and lighting, the work highlights the stillness and subtle tension of a public environment absent of people. The strong linear composition and tonal contrast were used to guide the viewer’s eye through the space, creating a sense of depth and isolation. This piece explores how light and space can communicate mood and narrative without the presence of a subject.
Artwork 2 : Interior Space Study
This charcoal still life explores texture, contrast, and form through a carefully arranged composition of everyday objects. By combining reflective surfaces, soft fabric folds, and solid mechanical shapes, the piece focuses on capturing variations in light and material. The monochromatic palette allows attention to remain on tonal range and depth, emphasising realism while maintaining a quiet, contemplative mood. This work reflects my interest in observational drawing and attention to detail through traditional media.
